  A few years ago, Presbyterian Women were involved in the Palm Project for the Democratic Republic of Congo, providing palm tree for villagers to grow for cooking oil,for home use and for sale. The project was very successful,with donations far exceeding the goal of $60,000, and many plantations are now in full operation. The Souper Bowl of Caring is the result of thousands of young people joining together to fight hunger and poverty in their local communities. This unique, youth-led movement of caring is transforming the nation's biggest weekend of football into its biggest weekend of giving.   DHPC will take up the Souper Bowl collection on Sunday, February 5. The proceeds will benefit PATH (Presbyterian Answer to Hunger) though a food offering for distribution through Intown Food Pantry.…
