Homeless Ministries
Community Fellowship provided fellowship and an evening meal each Sunday to 60-100 homeless and working poor. Eight churches collaborate with our work providing meals on a rotating schedule. On Sunday mornings there is a Sunday School class with breakfast provided at 8:00 a.m.
Night Shelter provides transitional housing for up to thirty men who are employed or actively seeking work. Each night a dinner is provided through our partnership with over twenty churches and organizations. The staff includes counselors and social workers who are supporting the transition from homelessness to independence. The team is working towards making this shelter year round starting in the Fall of 2011.
ICM-We formed a new partnership with many faith communities in the Ponce corridor to provide services to the homeless and working poor. This organization has replaced ICA and expanded the services provided.
